National Schools Project PDF Print E-mail

Congratulations to Brisbane Girls Grammar School and Saint Ita's Primary School (Brisbane) for the amazing exhibitions they have curated and posted on ABC's Pool.org as part of the Australia Venice Biennale Schools Call-out.

Both schools have been awarded with a Venice Biennale back-catalogue collection and in-school visit from Margaret Baguley, Chair of the Venice Biennale Education Advisory Panel.

To view both online exhibitions, visit the Pool website here.

The Venice Biennale Education Team partnered with ABC's Pool website to devise an exciting National Schools Project that encourages artmaking and exhibition development in the classroom.

By utilising the information available in the wider Venice Biennale Education Resources, Australian students and teachers were invited to curate a group exhibition of student work, responding to the question - If you were invited to curate an exhibition at the Venice Biennale, what would you do?
